During the last years in the period of Great Lent and Easter in Lviv it is held an art project “Sacred Space” by NGO “NURT”. Artists from represent a new look at the sense of sacred/spiritual art. They are representing their sacred art works in a form of installations, videos and music performances.

Foreword

It is said that when a finger points to the sky, a fool looks at the finger, while the smart one looks at the sky. But it is said too - Eternity can not be pointed at with a finger. Where will the wise watch at? How we can see the right combination of finger, sky and Eternity? That very combination, which creates sacred space.
Search of the Sacral is a strange chimera. Perhaps the strangest of all that is happening in the world. It has no apparent cause. Maybe its cause is invisible? Maybe the search for the Sacral is a thin bridge that unites us with something invisible, something the strangest?
That search, when you are searching for something that makes you search. Then the search itself is what it is searching for.
It is impossible to find a sacred thing, because it’s impossible to know what is to be sought. Maybe you can create It - by searching?

IT development and Artificial Intelligence invention are the branches that develop intensively nowadays.
Their speed is higher and higher even from the times of finding out plough or even electricity. Internet opened new possibilities and transform already existing sides of human cultural life. Is there a place for Sacrum in this world of diversity of cyber concepts?
